Single Property Sites is a real estate marketing company that creates individual single property sites for Realtors to use to market their real estate listings. SPS is the clear industry leader, but the company wanted someone to take a fresh look at their online marketing to expand their sales even further.
Fletcher/Giglio consulting has helped SPS expand their client base and build buzz in the industry. Through keyword research, F/G found new and underserved niches for Single Property Sites to target. Through blog integration, F/G consolidated SPS’s various blogs, service announcements and press releases into a single, seamlessly integrated platform. And through new media consulting, F/G helped SPS build new relationships with blogs and industry leaders, optimize its search engine optimization efforts and think about new and creative ways of marketing itself online.
Cheapshooter is a photography blog that had trouble finding readers. Photography blogging is a difficult niche to target, and Cheapshooter wanted to see results in a hurry. The site had a lot going for it - strong content, frequent updates and a dedicated — albeit small — community.
Fletcher/Giglio consultants jump-started Cheapshooter’s traffic with a social networking campaign. F/G worked with Cheapshooter to develop content that appealed to a social-media audience and helped the site syndicate and promote its content across the Web. Cheapshooter’s traffic took off. Three of its stories hit the front page of Reddit, and an article on tilt-shift photography was the most popular story on Digg for the day, giving the site more than 100,000 page views within 24 hours. The social media efforts got one of Cheapshooter’s tutorials linked off the front page of Yahoo.com, giving Cheapshooter thousands of visitors within the span of a few hours.
All these visitors meant more backlinks, more subscribers and more ad dollars for Cheapshooter. And the magic of social networking is that it literally can happen overnight.
This project isn’t quite done, but we and the client are excited, so here’s a peek under the hood. Environmental Graphics is a small business selling architectural signage to facilities around Florida. The company has better technology and better products than its competitors and it is poised to expand. One problem - they barely have a Web presence.
F/G is working to rethink and redesign EGI’s existing Web site, which is not placing the company in search engines, is not effectively showcasing the company’s products and is failing to bring in new customers. Here’s our draft of EGI’s brand new Web site. Once this is done, F/G will work with EGI to analyze their industry competition and find new keywords and markets to target. And through blog integration, F/G is creating EGI Knowledge, a blog about the ins and outs of the sign industry and the tricks of the trade. The blog, which will be the first of its kind in the industry, will launch Fall 2008.
